Mr Andrew Finn - Parent Governor
I have worked as a primary school teacher, youth worker, vicar and currently work as a pastoral year coordinator for a secondary school in Bromley. My background has been in education and the teaching and educating of young people has been a key part of all my roles. I appreciate the challenges and demands facing schools and the teaching staff whilst also understanding how rewarding it can be.
I feel my background in education would be helpful in the governing body and having served as a school governor in Margaretting, Essex, recognise the importance of the work that the governors do and how they can support the school and staff.
I moved to Sevenoaks in 2020 and all 3 of my children joined Dunton Green Primary School. As a parent and a member of the community who has been involved with the school, I recognise and value the family community that Dunton Green Primary has and the many things it has to offer. Over the last two years I have gained much through my involvement with Dunton Green Primary and would find it a privilege to continue to support the fantastic work of this school through being a governor.
