School Council

The School Council aims to give children a voice about what they want for their school.

Each year group has two representatives elected by the year group themselves. The council generally meets once a fortnight to discuss items raised by children from the classes and to organise and lead on whole school improvement projects.

The School Council gets involved in small projects to raise awareness of people less fortunate than themselves.

Last years school council organised the Harvest Festival appeal where children donated food in packets and tins to The Bridge house trust in Tonbridge who care for homeless people.  They also consulted on one of the end of year prizes and advise the Headteacher and SLT on pupils views to changes.  This year they have begun to run a Healthy Tuck Shop for children at morning breaks on a Wednesday and have taken responsibility for the 2nd hand uniform sale..
